“Begin with the end in mind.”

I can’t take credit for the title of this post. It belongs to Stephen Covey. It says that you need to have an ultimate goal and make decision along the way that will achieve that goal.

One area that I think is most common is how people, mostly workers, choose to make their money.
We all have options. You can work every year for $75k and in 30 years you have a $1m in your 401k and you 6 weeks paid vacation.
Another person can work for free. Figure out the system and then make $1m in ten years.
The point is: don’t be short sited when it comes to your life. Don’t feel like you have to get something back for every effort you put in. Sometimes you have to lose a few times to get the big score.
Easier said than done, but be aware of this.
